==push for deletion?== |

It seems the only reason for a push by some to delete this article is because of the Hong Kong movie of similar name. I'm not a surf nut myself, but this film seems to be among the top of most "best of" lists when it comes to this type of film and had many of the best surfers of the day included in it. I'd bet if the film had a different name there would not be a push for deletion. If this surf film does not have the credentials for notability then I guess no surf film would.--[[User:Mrhyak|Mrhyak]] ([[User talk:Mrhyak|talk]]) 04:20, 4 August 2008 (UTC) |

Notability
Not only does this not explain the notability but it isn't clear what this is. This was also a redirect to The Storm Riders and it is probably unwise to remove that given that this would be the main entry people would be looking for. (Emperor 00:39, 4 July 2007 (UTC))
