Ishmael Toroama was born in Kieta in then North Solomons Province of Papua New Guinea[1]. He was a Commander of the Bougainville Revolutionary Army from its creation in 1989 to 2001, when the Bougainville Peace Agreement was signed.[2] [3] Ishmael Toroama has a reputation for being anti-corruption campaigner in Bougainville. He came second in the 2015 presidential election which was won by John Momis.[4] Commander Toroama is currently expected to be the next President of the Autonomous Bougainville Government. [5] There are currently three candidates remaining following the latest figures released from the Office of the Bougainville Electoral Commission.[6] Ishmael Toroama Has led the election count since the outset that appears to have one wide genuine support for his campaign, they going so Simon is what order
