JD Disalvatore is a LGBT film/television producer/director and gay rights activist. Her recent credits include the award winning SHELTER, EATING OUT 2, and GAY PROPAGANDA.

In addition to producing LGBT film, she also has written extensively on LGBT film for outlets including Gay Wired, Power Up and here! online in addition to her daily blog on Gay and Lesbian entertainment, http://outfest.blogspot.com

JD was also the Festival Manager at OUTFEST: The Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, the largest film festival in Los Angeles. She has also produced panels on LGBT film for Outfest, Power UP and the Writer's Guild of America. She also produced the queer entertainment news show HERE@ for the here! networks.

SHELTER will be in theatres November, 2007 while EATING OUT 2 and GAY PROPAGANDA are available on Amazon and for rental at Blockbuster.
