The Jane Addams Children's Book Awards are given annually to children's books published the preceeding year that advance the causes of peace and social equality. The awards, which have been presented annually since 1953, are given jointly by the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) and the Jane Addams Peace Association.
