Jaylen Samuels is an American football fullback. He played college football at NC State.

College career

Throughout his college career, Samuels has changed positions, sometimes being listed as a running back, fullback or tight end.[1][2] After his sophomore season, Samuels was able to participate in the 2016 Independence Bowl, where he caught 3 touchdown passes, the most in Independence Bowl history. Due to his contribution, he was named the MVP of the Independence Bowl.[3] During his senior season, Samuels set the NC State record for career receptions with 202 during his 4 years.[4] After this season, Samuels was invited to the 2018 Senior Bowl.[5]
