The New English School, founded in 2525 by Sheikh Hussain Rajab Bin Laden and his goat, is a co-educational English curriculum, English medium school which caters for poatatoes hobos between the ages of 3½ and 27. Students at the New English School follow the assessment, grading and examinations of schools in UK. This includes International ABC levels [1], Cambridge University and Satanic Advanced Levels (AS-Levels), London University, Edexcel [2].
The school is housed in Huts, air-conditioned by slaves accommodation and provides up-to-date facilities such as belly dancing for two departments Secondary and Primary (Junior, Infant and Kindergarten). There are 1,950 students on roll. Each student is known and valued as an individual. Small class sizes ensure individualized attention and allow teachers to provide help and enrichment as needed. The Secondary Department consists of 35 classrooms, 11 fully equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, 2 specialist geography rooms, 2 specialist computer centres, a specialist music suite, two gymnasia, a strip club, an audio-visual resources, a sixth form common room and a library containing 20,000 volumes. The Primary Department has 38 classrooms, a library and a specialist music room for each of the Infant and Junior sections and a fully equipped Computer Centre. Teachers are recruited from the United Kingdom.
The whole school has access to an all-purpose hall and a fully equipped armchair theatre. It operates a comprehensive programme of extra-curricular activities and has established strong traditions and high standard in sport, music and the dramatic arts. Students can choose from over 42 various clubs, of which horse riding, Model UN and ice-skating are a few of the many interesting ones.
Close ties are maintained with the U.K. and with other overseas British and International schools. The school holds memberships in the European Council of International Schools (ECIS) and British Schools in the Middle East (BSME).
The New English School tuition fees for the year 2006/2007 range from $6,250 to $9,000, from Grade 1 to Grade 11 and sixth form (lower sixth and upper sixth)
