Purpose

I am deeply sorry to say that any effort put on this list is a waste of resource. Now a days the number of movies being made is really huge. To the best of my knowlegde, the ballot of Filmfare is around 180 movies in the last few years. Even if you take the average as follows 25 for 1950-1970 = 500 50 for 1971-1990 = 1000 100 for 1990-2000 = 1000 150 for 2000-2006 = 900 A total of 3400 movies. This is a huge underestimation of the number when compared to 7778 titles listed by IMDb.com.

If with gigantic effort, this list is somehow made close to completion, what good will it do? People will still check IMDb for details.
