MindRACES

MindRACES is a project funded under the sixth framework research program in Europe (IST-511931). It is a three year project started in October 2004. It is focused on the study of the role of anticipation and of anticipatory mechanisms in cognition and evolution and on the development and refinement of software architectures integrating anticipatory capabilities. It involves eight partners across Europe: ISTC-CNR (Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies - project coordinator), IDSIA (Dalla Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence), IST (Instituto Superior Tecnico), LUCS (Lund University Cognitive Science), NBU (New Bulgarian University), NOZE (Open Source IT Enterprise), OFAI (Austrian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence), UW-COGSCI (University of Wurzburg Cognitive Science Group) are the other partners.
