Wah Chang

This doesn't sound very plausible to me. Rather, it sound suspiciously like a biased personal account. First Draft Script

I own a copy of the first draft script which has the dialogue relating to the improved cloaking device. Does my word count? Would someone like a photocopy of the page with the dialogue? Sir Rhosis 20:28, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No one is doubting your word, but the fact that you have this script and are able to refer to it directly is not stated in the article. Whether or not it was ever published, the article could use a citation from it as a footnote, containing the name of the author or authors, the date when it was created, its format, its circulation, and perhaps the actual verbatim quote to which you refer. Three questions

1) What was it that took Chekov so long to distinguish Spock from the Romulans? He was only half Vulcan!

Addendum: It was a television show. They wanted drama, that's why.

2) Why did the Federation never use the cloaking device afterwards while it obviously was compatible with their own technique?

Addendum: The cloak represents submarines in space. WW2 was still fresh on people's minds. (Roddenberry served in WW2) The Germans used submarines (U Boats) to the fullest, sinking and killing any and everyone. Submarine attacks were considered to be "dirty pool" and quite dishonorable. See next question:

Addendum: What's missing in the trivia for this episode is how it is based around real events. The USS Pueblo was captured by the North Koreans while on a spy mission.
