In the summer of 2007 what was initially a crossover promo for MTV Australia as a guest host on TRL in New York turned into a permanent gig and the start of a new life for Lyndsey Rodrigues. She's the first Aussie to sign on as a host with MTV's frenetic music video countdown show, TRL (Total Request Live) but it's a natural step on the road to success for the former MTV Australia VJ. |

Lyndsey began her foray in entertainment as an actress in musical theater in 1995. Since relocating to New York City and taking on co-hosting duties on TRL and hosting on Big 10, Lyndsey has also co-hosted Tila Tequila's New Year's Eve Masquerade 2008 and hosted The Real World Sydney Reunion Special. Finding herself in awe just sharing the same stage, Lyndsey has interviewed who's who in music, film & television, such as Foo Fighters, Chris Brown, Maroon 5, Fergie, Natasha Beddingfield, Stereophonics, Good Charlotte, Jennifer Aniston and Will Smith. In 2005 TRL Australia became Lyndsey's first official hosting gig and her life as an on-air personality was set in motion. She's added her flair on MTV Oz specials like the MTV Australia Video Music Awards, the ASTRA Awards (Australian Subscription Television and Radio Awards), Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, Pantene Young Woman of the Year Awards, MTV Snow Cave, MTV Beach House, MTV Full Tank and MTV News. Forever an Aussie, she'll continue to lend her charismatic personality to the MTV Networks Australian team on their current shows such as MTV News, local special events and awards shows. |

She's so far graced the pages of Cleo, Cosmopolitan Australia, Maxim, Seventeen, InStyle, OK! and Girlfriend magazine. Born in Sydney, Lyndsey, 27 adores animals and owns a chocolate Lab/English Setter affectionately and appropriately named Hersey because he's as "sweet as candy". When it comes to her personal musical tastes she can't get enough of rock. Her personal favorites include Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fleetwood Mac, Guns and Roses and Jet. |
