I have tried twice to edit the Frisch article to show that his birth name was Frank Francis Frisch, and it is so given in Macmillan's Baseball Encyclopedia and The Official Encyclopedia of Baseball by Turkin and Thompson. However, both times my addition to that effect has been edited out. Dougie monty 07:55, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The information needs to be more explicitly sourced. See WP:CITE and WP:CITET for more detailed info on how to accomplish this. -Ebyabe 16:14, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the further detail:

Macmillan Baseball Encyclopedia: 1988, Ed. by Joseph Reichler, p. 971 (Player Register) ISBN: 0-02-579030-7

Turkin & Thompson The Official Encyclopedia of Baseball: Jubilee edition (1951), p. 108, All-Time Register of Players and Managers; Copyright Hy Turkin & S. C. Thompson

I hope this is sufficient. Dougie monty 07:50, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
