Liam Holowesko (born William Holowesko, August 10, 2000) is an American and Bahamian road cyclist from Lyford Cay[1] who signed to ride with Hagens Berman Axeon in 2018 at the age of 18, which made him the youngest member of the team.[2] Prior to signing with HBA, Holowesko rode for Hot Tubes Development Cycling Team.[3]

History

In 2014, Holowesko won the Bahamas Cycling Federation's junior National Time Trials at the age of 13.[1][4] He won the time trials again in 2015, and came in second in the road race.[5] In the Junior Tour of Island in 2016, riding for the US based Hot Tubes, Holowesko held the white jersey for two consecutive days.[6]

He is a two-time USA Junior National Time Trial Champion.[7]

He also won the Bahamas Pro National Championship for Road Racing in 2018,[8] the Bahamas Pro National Championship Time Trials in 2015[9] and 2017.[10]
