Liam Holowesko (born William Holowesko, August 10, 2000) is an American and Bahamian road cyclist from Lyford Cay who competes with Hagens Berman Axeon.

History

In 2014, Holowesko won the Bahamas Cycling Federation's junior National Time Trials at the age of 13.[1][2] He won the time trials again in 2015, and came in second in the road race.[3] In the Junior Tour of Island in 2016, riding for the US based Hot Tubes, Holowesko held the white jersey for two consecutive days.[4]

He is a two-time USA Junior National Time Trial Champion.[5]

He also won the Bahamas Pro National Championship for Road Racing in 2018,[6] the Bahamas Pro National Championship Time Trials in 2015[7] and 2017.[8]

Holowesko signed to ride with Hagens Berman Axeon in 2018 at the age of 18, which made him the youngest member of the team.[9] Prior to signing with HBA, He rode for Hot Tubes Development Cycling Team.[10]
