I agree that we should focus efforts on those articles which aren't supported by the other wikiproject but i am still in favour of tagging the articles as they're some of the most important cambridge articles, and surely any article can benefit from input.Pi —Preceding comment was added at 09:10, 18 December 2007 (UTC) |

Hi guys, I just found your project (by chance) and wondered how you were getting on and if you're still active? |
|||
I've added a link to your project at WP:UKGEO and have also mentioned the WP:UKCITIES guideline on your project page. |

I was wondering too, have you considered broadening your scope into a new Wikipedia:WikiProject Cambridgeshire? It would be more inline with the rest of England and I think it would bare more fruit. --Jza84 | Talk 21:58, 10 April 2008 (UTC) |

Tasks to do
Some suggestions for organised things to do:
- Check through Cambridge articles to ensure they all have geographic co-ordinates. Tag with LocateMe initially and then find the co-ordinates
- Check through Cambridge articles to see what photos are needed. Create a sub-category of Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in England for them
We should do this in an organised fashion to prevent repitition.

- I have created a subpage of the wikiproject to deal with your idea about Images. It is at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Cambridge/Images. I like the cooridinate idea although i'm not sure how to actualy find the co-ordinates. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pi (talk • contribs) 20:36, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
- The preferable way would be to use the existing mechanism, which is to use , which would add them to a new catgeory Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Cambridge.
Scope of this project, overlap with University of Cambridge WikiProject
I see that a lot of articles about the university have just been tagged with this WikiProject's banner. As there is already a University of Cambridge WikiProject, do we really want to lay claim to all these? It seems to leave that project with nothing to do. Maybe we should restrict this project to non-university articles?

Hi guys, I just found your project (by chance) and wondered how you were getting on and if you're still active?
I've added a link to your project at WP:UKGEO and have also mentioned the WP:UKCITIES guideline on your project page.
I was wondering too, have you considered broadening your scope into a new Wikipedia:WikiProject Cambridgeshire? It would be more inline with the rest of England and I think it would bare more fruit. --Jza84 | Talk 21:58, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
