The Pecluvirus is a genus of a virus with no family. Virions are helical, non-enveloped, elongated and rod-shaped with a length of 245 nm - 160 nm and a width of 21 nm. The genome is segmented into two parts of linear, positive-sense, single-stranded RNA, 10400 nucleotides in length. The name of the genus is derived from its type species, Peanut clump virus, giving rise to Pecluvirus.[1]
