Right then! First thing's first! Rowan Woods is a nice guy! I met him at a "Meet the Director" session at Federation Square in Melbourne. Very cool. He directed The Boys in 1998 and won an AFI award for best direction. His latest film was released in September of 2005 in Australia. The film is called Little Fish and starred a great cast, including my fave Aussie actress, Cate Blanchett. Rowan was nominated for best director again at the 2005 AFI Awards but lost to Sarah Watt. Sarah's film, Look Both Ways nicked quite a few AFI awards, including best film......which I think Little Fish should have got....Oh well! I reccomend Little Fish to you all! It is a brilliant film and one of the Australian Film Industry's little beauties! When I get the dvd, I'm going to say a famous line that Michael Caton said in "The Castle". "This is going straight to the pool room!"
