This article needs to be moved, as the translation "Union Party" gives a totally wrong impression of what the party was. It was ''not'' in favour of the union with Sweden, indeed it presided over the dissolution of said union. The word "Samling" in the Norwegian name "Samlingspartiet" translates directly as "gathering" or in this context, more or less "unity". The "samling" in question was meant to be unity between all the non-Socialist political forces in the country, ''not'' unity with Sweden, as the name "Union Party" would lead anyone to believe.

Propose move to Unity Party (Norway)

This article needs to be moved, as the translation "Union Party" gives a totally wrong impression of what the party was. It was not in favour of the union with Sweden, indeed it presided over the dissolution of said union. The word "Samling" in the Norwegian name "Samlingspartiet" translates directly as "gathering" or in this context, more or less "unity". The "samling" in question was meant to be unity between all the non-Socialist political forces in the country, not unity with Sweden, as the name "Union Party" would lead anyone to believe.
