Montecristo: Un Amor, Una Venganza (Monte Cristo: Love and Revenge) is a 2006 Argentine telenovela.
Plot
The evil clan of the Lambardo family kills and tortures innocent people. The story starts where in 1995A.D. Alberto Lambardo commands his son Marcus to go fencing with his best friend Santiago Diez Errero. They fence, and Marcus hurts him with a saber. He wants to bring him back to Buenos Aires, Argentina, but his father Alberto Lambardo commands Marcus to leave him in a Moroccan jail where he is deemed dead after the fencing tournament.
Eleven years pass, and now set in modern day Buenos Aires, Argentina 2006A.D., Santiago Diez Errero survives, finds good people Victoria, Ramon, Saritta, Rocomora, and is determined to punish the Lambardo family for what they have done to his dad, Laura's parents, and anyone who disagreed with them throughout the decades. Lesandro is an executioner, while Alberto Lambardo is a euthanasia doctor who kills people who are terminally ill. After killing Laura's, and Victoria's parents who are biological sisters, Victoria hid herself in the closet and watched the Lambardo family execute her parents. They removed Laura from the dead mother's womb, and brought her to Elena, Lesandro's wife. Without allowing to ask any questions, Laura is adopted by Lesandro and Elena, and thus Elena cannot have any biological children of their own. Then, God Almighty creates a miracle and gives Elena pregnancy with Erica their first daughter.
Now the story gets more interesting as Santiago Diez Errero sets up a vengeful plan to attack the Lambardo's Restaurant, and then Luciano calls Lesandro the executioner as Rocommore is on a personal business trip with Alberto Lambardo. He tries Vito the Sicilian cook and kills him. He lies to Laura that he is her dad, and not her uncle anymore. Lolita's Alberto's new wife is blamed for killing some Fernando in 1994A.D., in a restaurant. Rocommore curses Lesandro three times and swears to take vengeance upon the Lambardo family clan for killing his Sicilian chef friend Vito.
As intrigues entangle the web of lies and deceit. Rocommore gets beaten almost to death, but, Alberto Lambardo commands Marcus and his people to stop beating him up. Santiago Diez Errero goes to jail, but, then Marcus takes him out of there. Laura tells the truth to her son Mateos that Santiago is his real father and not Marcus. Monte Cristo Love And Revenge is a perfect example of good vs. evil. People who can wipe anyone and even each other off the face of the earth, because they think they are above the law, and not on it, or below it. Wealthy and influential Lambardo family clan bought the world, and sold their soul to the devil, without even realizing that this devil will take them when they die.
