Sioni Lauaki (born June 22, 1981 in Tonga) is a New Zealand rugby union forward for the New Zealand All Blacks, with whom he made his debut with in 2005 against Fiji.He currently plays for the Waikato Chiefs in the Super 14 competition. He is 192cm tall and weighs 118kg.

He is from Auckland’s Kelston Boys’ High School where he made the First XV in 1998.

He is known as an unpredictable player, with his size and strength combined with remarkable agility for someone of his size, Lauaki also possesses good ball skills for a forward. His preferred position is number 8 but can also play flanker and lock. Lauaki has been sometimes criticised for his inconsistency and off field behaviour but few doubt his talent.

Has a brother, Epalahame Lauaki who is a 2nd rower for the New Zealand Warriors in the National Rugby League.
