An RFID identification product from VeriChip Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Applied Digital Solutions, a Florida corporation. Verichip is an implantable RFID chip, about the size of a grain of rice which can be hypodermically injected. The chip will respond to an interrogation radio signal with an encoded unique ID number. This number can be used to identify the implanted individual by consulting a registry maintained by the corporation.
