The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission (PUC) regulates the energy, Telecommunications and grain warehouse companies located in South Dakota. The Puc keep track of the Do Not Call Registry. The PUC Chairman is elected every 6 years; The Vice Chairman, elected every 4 years, and Commissioner every 2 years.
