Impact Entrepreneurship Group is Canada’s largest non-profit, student- run organization, whose main aim is to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit amongst youth in Canada through its Annual National Conference, Microcredit Competition and many such initiatives.

Impact was founded in 2004, starting with a leadership conference only and within the past five years, it has grown immensely, with five programs that the organization is currently organizing. Over these five years, Impact has reached over 10 000 young people through its programs, both at the local and national level.

Impact started off as a team of six students at the University of Waterloo and currently there are over 100 student volunteers across Canada as part of the team. Impact’s immense growth can be attributed to the fact that it brings together some of Canada’s brightest and best students for the common cause of encouraging entrepreneurship amongst youth and at the same time learn from each other’s vast experiences and build contacts across Canada.

2008 Programs

Entrepreneurship Week Canada

Impact is hosting this year’s Entrepreneurship Week Canada. EWC is part of a global campaign called Global Entrepreneurship Week, which is a week long event across the globe, promoting entrepreneurship. This campaign is designed to bring together entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations from across Canada to host educational and inspirational programs. EWC is from November 17-23, with events being held all across Canada and the flagship event being the National conference form November 21 to 22.
