The Brilliant Things The Brilliant Things arrive on the scene with a fresh, new pop-rock sound that has echoes of T Rex and Blondie, but is totally unique. As their sound developed, Greg’s cousin, Geoff French from Galway, was drafted in on drums. As a session musician, Geoff has played with the likes of Pixie Lott and Gabriella Cilmi. And in-demand musician-for-hire Mia Fitzgerald, a Dubliner who has performed with everyone from Taio Cruz and Rumer to Andrea Bocelli, completes the line-up as a full-time bass player. After starting out as a synth-based duo, The Brilliant Things is now a fully-fledged rock/pop combo.

The band released their self-titled debut album in Ireland Only on 7th October 2011.[1]
