Thuria (a/k/a Thouria) (Θυρία; Θουρία) is a city in the region of Messenia (in Peloponnesus), in Greece, located west of Sparta. Population 4,106 (2001).

The Thuriats took part in the Helot revolt which occured between 466 BC and 462 BC.[1]
