Post-Independence Rare Stamps

After Indian Independence, Indian Postal Department started publishing many stamps every year. Some of them have become rare, as they have been printed with some errors or have been withdrawn due to some technical problem.

Some of the Withdrawn Stamps are as follows:

Begum Akhtar

This stamp is released on 2nd December, 1994. It has been printed with water soluble ink. So soon after the release, it has been withdrawn.

Water Birds

This is a set of four stamps. It is issued in on 23rd November, 1994. This was printed with water soluble ink. So soon after the release, it has been withdrawn.
