- <u>The Battle of 256:</u> Pickerington High School and Reynoldsburg High School has one of the longest continuing rivalries in Central Ohio. The schools have met every year (in football) since the 1970's. In 2005, sponsored by the local Wal-Mart, the Reynoldsburg/Pickerington game became known as the "Battle of 256", as Pickerington and Reynoldsburg are the largest cityies to sit on OH-256. A large metal Football Shaped trophy is awarded to the winning school each year. Reynoldsburg High School has not beaten Pickerington High School since 1998. <br>

-The annual game between Pickerington and Lancaster High Schools are sometimes referred to as the "Fight for Fairfield County". This game is between the two largest cities and schools in Fairfield County. Pickerington defeated Lancaster for the first time in ten years in the 2007 season. During this season PHSC beat Lancaster twice, once during the regular season and once during the first playoff game of '07.

The group consists of approximately 210 students (as of 2008). Pickerington High School Central consists of grades nine through twelve and houses approximately 1,350 students.
