why am i blocked this time, i've been civil and nice and haven't made any sockpuppet accounts and why have somebody posted a retired icon on my user talk page. Above it sais my account was compromised, i don't know what that means but im gessing its something i've done. Can somebody help me understand, i'm a Norwegian boy with bad temper and i want to know the reason for my block. --Be Black Hole Sun (talk) 19:50, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

First your account being compromised means that someone else has gained access to it and has edited here, and to see why it has been blocked, the edit record shows the story. Someone claims to be your brother and edited using this account while you were away as described here. Accordingly, we need to be sure that only you are able to operate this account, and it's a good idea to change your password and do not store it in your internet browser. Here are some diffs for you. If someone did get access to your account, the only thing that strikes me as being strange is that they knew about User:Reaper X/Awayheader and how to transclude it. Hey Matthew nice to see you, first i have a bad temper but seriously im not the kind of guy which would replace content with FUCK YOU, thats not my kind of style. As the Admin who initially blocked your account when I saw, frankly, outrageous editing, and having spent some time with it since, it's clear that some answers are required, if only to clear the air. It appears at first sight that your brother, and I'm fully assuming good faith here, is a new editor, and thus would not know about some of the details of how Wikipedia works. His use of a template from another user would normally indicate some knowledge of a way around here. That's the problem we have here: some questions (1) do you have a brother at all? (2) why would he put at risk your otherwise good editing reputation here? (3) it's clear you share a computer; do you have different accounts on it? (4) a bad temper is somewhat unhelpful on the Internet; in my experience, it only results in having to buy new keyboards and windows from time to time, which isn't helpful (5) and most important: what steps have you taken in relation to your brother using your (valuable) account here?
