'Last Night I Saved Her From Vampires' is a live album by the UK band Future Of The Left. It was recorded in Cardiff Clwb Ifor Bach and London Water Rats in August 2008. The album is to be released on CD and Download in early 2009 but is currently onsale at the band's live shows.
The song is a non-sync recording and occurs in the storyline when Charlie Brown believes that his pet dog, Snoopy will not ever be coming home again. The song is about recognizing the changes in life and dealing with them.

"Charlie Brown's Calliope" is the instrumental (sans vocal) version of this song played while Charlie Brown contemplates the changes in his life. Like much of the musical arrangement, it has a lilting, psychodelic feeling often associated with the early 1970s. It is orchestrated with instruments usually asscociated with music accompanying merry go rounds.
