The Çaltıkoru Dam ( Turkish Çaltıkoru Barajı ) is located on İlyas Çayı in the Bakırçay catchment area in the western Turkish province of İzmir .
The Çaltıkoru dam was built in the years 1996-2011 northeast of the eponymous town of Çaltıkoru and 20 km northeast of Bergama . The neighboring Yortanlı Dam is one kilometer away. The outflows of the two dams unite below the Yortanlı dam. The Çaltıkoru Dam was built for irrigation purposes and is designed for an area of 4251 ha. The barrier structure is a gravity dam made of rolled concrete ( RCC dam ). The dam has a height of 76 m above the foundation base and 61 m above the valley floor. It has a volume of 800,000 m³. The 1.9 km² reservoir has a storage volume of 41.6 million m³.
