Élet és Irodalom

Élet és Irodalom ( Hungarian for life and literature , or ÉS forshort) is a Hungarian weekly newspaper with a focus on literature and politics. It is considered politically liberal. As early as 1923 there was a short-lived newspaper of the same name, founded by Dezső Szabó . In 1957 today's newspaper began to appear (initially every two weeks).
