Óscar Salazar

Óscar Francisco Salazar Blanco (born November 3, 1977 ) is a Mexican Taekwondoin .

He won gold in the Pan American Championships in 1996, 1998 and 2002, silver in the World Cup in 2000 and third place in the 1997 World Cup . At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he took second place in the weight class up to 58 kg. He received a lifelong grant from the Mexican state for his placement at the Olympics. His sister Iridia Salazar Blanco is also a successful Taekwondoin.
