The specialist magazine for public safety (subtitle: The magazine of the Ministry of the Interior , initially: Police-Rundschau ) is the official magazine of the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior . It has been published under this title since 1921, making it one of the oldest existing specialist journals in the field of security. The magazine appears six times a year and has a circulation of 15,000.

Between 1869 and 1877 a magazine was published in Vienna with the same title Public Security: Organ for Legislation and Administration in relation to all police and police criminal law matters, edited by Georg Lienbacher (politician) and Ferdinand von Lentner .
