An ecogram (Greek οἶκος oikos 'house', 'household' and γράμμα grámma 'written') is a graphic representation that illustrates the influence of various environmental factors on a biological species or a community of species, such as a plant society. For this purpose, the various factors under consideration, often pH value and soil moisture , are plotted on the axes of a diagram and the occurrence or dominance of the organisms under consideration are indicated by points from which a range that is characteristic of the group under consideration can be inferred. Since this is not clearly delimited in nature, they can also be shown blurred.

An ecogram is a scientific model and a special case of the graphical representation of a niche area .
