The Austro-Hungarian Cantoren newspaper. Organ for the general interests of Jewish Cantors. Central Organ for the Interests of Cantors and Cultus Officials was a newspaper for Jewish cantors published from 1881 to 1903 . The founder and editor-in-chief was Jakob Bauer (1852–1926), chief cantor at the Turkish Temple in Vienna . The newspaper initially appeared independently every eight days, later every ten days. From 1904 the paper was integrated as a supplement in the magazine Die Truth and continued until 1908.
