Austrian champion is the general name for the winner in the team or individual evaluation at national sports competitions in Austria and is therefore comparable to the German champion .
In contrast to the Austrian national champion , the title of Austrian champion is awarded in all age categories and also in disciplines that are not (yet) recognized by the Austrian Federal Sports Organization .
