The MÁV Ik was an express train - steam locomotive series of the Hungarian State Railways MÁV.
Probably anticipating that the Ik series interconnected engines would do better than the MÁV Ih series wet steam twin locomotives , the MÁV had 15 units made in Budapest in 1897 , followed by three more in 1898.
The boiler had a little fewer tubes, in return it was a little longer than the Ih series. The bogie was located a little further forward and had a larger wheelbase. This resulted in a longer length than the category Ih locomotives. In addition, the pivot of the bogie got a side play.
Like the Ih series, the vehicles were used on the mountain routes.
In the second MÁV scheme, the 18 twin locomotives were given the numbers 661–678 as category Ik . In the third scheme valid from 1911, they were 321.001-018.
After the First World War, the 321,010 came to the ČSD , which it referred to as 344,701 and cashed in 1927.
