Şaddilî

The Şaddilî (Şadî, Şadlû, Şahdeli or Şadiyan) are a Kurdish tribe in Dersim , West Azerbaijan and North Khorasan .

history

The Sadilli founded the principality of the Shaddadids in Azerbaijan - Aras in 950 . After the fall of the principality around 1090, part of the tribe fled to Anatolia . Most of the Şaddilî Kurds who remained in West Azerbaijan were relocated to Khorasan by the Safavids in the 17th century , where they still live today.
