The Żebbuġ Rangers FC is a Maltese football club from the municipality of Żebbuġ .

history

The Rangers played in the third division until the late 1960s. The first promotion to the second division succeeded in the 1967/68 season, when the Rangers won the championship of Section B of the Third Division after a long neck-and-neck race with the Vittoriosa Stars .

So far, the Rangers completed a total of nine seasons in the highest Maltese league, the Maltese Premier League , four seasons in a row from 1973 to 1976. The greatest success was the 5th place in 1973/74. The last promotion to the first division was in 2014, but after only one season, the relegation to the second-rate Maltese First Division took place .
