The men's 1st squash Bundesliga is the highest division in German squash . The German champions have been determined in this competition since the 1979/80 season.

Current mode

The men's Bundesliga consists of 16 teams in the 2019/20 season. These are divided into two seasons: North and South. An automatic relegation only takes place for the last two teams if the maximum number of ten teams is represented in the league. Therefore, there are currently no relegation places. If there were, the teams concerned would be relegated to the respective regional league, depending on their origin. The winners and runners-up of each season qualify for the playoffs. The winners of the two semi-finals play the title of German champion in the final. There is no match for third place.

German champion

The most successful men's clubs include the OSC Ingolstadt and Boastars Kiel with four titles each. The men's record champions are Paderborn SC with 14 titles. Paderborner SC is also the record champion for women, here with seven titles.
