24th Panzer Grenadier Brigade
The 24th Panzer Grenadier Brigade was a German Panzer Grenadier Brigade during World War II .
History of the brigade
The brigade was formed on July 5, 1942. The unit was created by renaming the 24th Rifle Brigade and was also assigned to the 24th Panzer Division .
When it was first deployed to the front, the brigade was so decimated at the end of October 1942 in the Battle of Stalingrad that it had to be disbanded afterwards.
