There is a residential building at 48-50 Market Street in the Scottish city ​​of Kilsyth . It is located in the city center about a hundred meters east of the market square. In 1979 the building was added to the Scottish Monuments List in Category C.

The exact date of construction of the house is not recorded, so that only the late 18th century can be given as the construction period. It's right on the cobbled Market Street across the street from Burngreen . It is an asymmetrically divided semi-detached house. The two entrance doors point to the front and are surrounded by three asymmetrically arranged windows, including a triple window . On the upper floor of the two-story building, three simple windows are built into the front. Another window is located on the central gable with a gable roof , which ends with the facade and supports one of the two chimneys. The second chimney ends with the side gable of the gable roof house. The facade is plastered with Harl in the traditional South West Scottish style .
