A. De Fussigny is a cognac house from Cognac in France .

history

The winery was founded in 1814, the A. De Fussigny brand has been around since 1860, but was only known to a limited group of consumers. A. De Fussigny does not have its own vineyards, but the company has supply and cooperation agreements with 1200 farmers and 200 distilleries. A. De Fussigny uses grapes from 350 hectares of land grown in the Grande and Petite Champagne regions with their rich and calcareous soils.

Mild, slightly humid climate is typical for these places. The warm autumn allows the grapes to gather just before the peak of ripeness in order to retain the subtle aromas necessary for the aux-de-vie . The grapes for A. De Fussigny's cognacs grow in the communes of Grande Champagne (Bouteville, Lignieres, Bonneuil, Angeac-Champagne and Touzac) and Petite Champagne (Jarnac-Champagne, Sainte-Lheurine and Lonzac).

Others

In addition to cognac, A. de Fussigny also produces other spirits, including Summum, a vodka for the American market, as well as several brandies.
