The Ago Ao 192 "Kurier" from AGO ( Apparatebau GmbH Oschersleben ) was a touring aircraft that was developed by the AGO aircraft works under the direction of Paul Klages at its own expense and without an order from the Reich Aviation Ministry . The low-wing aircraft had a retractable rear wheel landing gear with low-pressure tires, adjustable wooden propellers and a de-icing system. It was also equipped with a radio system as standard.
The maiden flight of the first prototype Ao 192V1 took place in the summer of 1935. A total of two Ao 192 A machines (V1 and V2), a sample machine for the planned series production, Ao 192 B, and subsequently three series machines were produced.
The Ao 192 took part in the Germany sightseeing flight in 1935 and in the air race in Frankfurt-Rebstock in 1939.
