The AN / SPG-62 is a ship-based fire control radar , which by the US Corporation Radio Corporation of America is produced.

The SPG-62 is used to control standard Missile 2 guided missiles and is specially designed for use on Aegis ships. It is produced by the Radio Corporation of America (now part of Thomson / Bertelsmann ) and is part of the Mk 99 fire control system. The system works in the frequency range from 8 to 20 GHz and works with a constant output of 10 kW. Thanks to modern technologies, the main lobe is extremely narrow, which means that very precise target tracking can be achieved with comparatively little energy. The SPG-62 can also be used as a rudimentary search radar.
