The APL automotive testing Landau GmbH, based in Landau is a development and test services for the automotive and petroleum industries.

The company, founded in 1989, has more than 100 test stands for engines and drive trains in Landau , in which mechanical components (drives) as well as lubricants and fuels (engine and gear oils, fuels, additives) can be tested. There is also an operating materials laboratory in which lubricants and fuels can be analyzed. In addition to tests and inspections, development services for engines and components are also offered.
