Breathe off
Exhaling is an old term from the metallurgy industry , it describes the annealing of the so-called chapels (these are porous crucibles made of bone ash), whereby bound water and carbonic acid initially evaporate (therefore probably exhaling) and later largely removed. Chapels or cupels are required for cupellation .
