Abé (also Abbé, Abbey or Abi) is an African language with around 200,000 speakers, which is assigned to the Kwa language family and is spoken in the area of Agboville ( Ivory Coast ). Abé is spoken in the entire Agboville prefecture (except in the Krobou canton ) and in the Tiassale canton in the prefecture of the same name, in a total of 70 "villages". Speakers are the Abé belonging to the Akan .

Four dialects are spoken within Abé:

  • Tioffo
  • Morie
  • Abbey-Ve or Abé-Ve
  • Kos or Khos
