Sealing plug

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A sealing plug is used to close small leaks in liquid containers. Sealing plugs are mostly used by the fire brigade .

materials

Sealing plugs are usually made of wood or rubber, but Teflon ones are also available.

application

Sealing plugs are slightly conical and are driven into the damaged area with the pointed side first. Since these damages are not always completely round, the combination with sealing paste makes sense.
