As relinquish one of which is in Germany fees for doctors deviating (GOÄ) agreement to the amount of medical fees referred. Since 1982, the agreement of flat-rate fees is no longer permitted. Rather, when a different fee agreement is concluded, the GOÄ for private medical services must remain the basis in any case. With a binding reference to a certain service or fee item in the GOÄ, only the rate of increase, but not the number of points for the service or a different point value can be agreed. A different fee agreement must also be made before the service is provided and recorded in a separate document; it requires a personal consultation in individual cases.
