Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa

Sheikh Abdullah bin Raschid Al Khalifa ( Arabic عبد الله بن راشد آل خليفة, DMG ʿAbd Allāh b. Rāšid Āl Ḫalīfa ) is a Bahraini diplomat and the current Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States .

Abdullah bin Raschid Al Chalifa studied at Bently University, where he received a Masters in Business Administration .

He is currently working on his dissertation .

Career

His professional career began in a court where he worked in the fields of education , medicine and social affairs.

He then moved to a youth and sports organization, where he headed the HR department.

In 2010 he became governor of the southern governorate . In this position he worked with an American NGO and launched several anti-drug and anti-violence campaigns.

He was instrumental in drafting Bahrain's anti-drug policy.

On June 23, 2017, he was appointed Ambassador of Bahrain to the United States by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa .
